Engraving
From a traditional standpoint, engraving is among the engravings for reproduction or designs and images with a burin or graver onto a planar surface such as metal. It captures the artistry of the creator and combination of skills that permits the creation of intricate prints with delicate lines and details. The technique goes back to the 15th century and one of the most known artists who specialized in engraving incorporated the work was Albrecht Durer, reknowned for boiling woodcut and copper engraving and Rembrant Van Rijn whose etchings are the most persuading art of light and shadow blended together. At its peak, engravings dominated the Renaissance and Baroque period in Europe and across the globe but in modern day it still survives to be known for the artistry which requires precision.
