How do you select artists?

There are two ways: We search for artists proactively, especially from remote corners of the world such as Dnipro, Ukraine or Antananarivo, Madagascar. Another way is reactive. Artists are free to create a profile and upload their artworks by themselves. All uploaded artworks go through our human moderators, who decide if we showcase artworks on our platform and/or in special selections or offline events. Even if the artwork didn’t pass our moderator artist can still use Subjektiv studio as their digital portfolio and sell through it privately. Both ways, of course, are highly Subjektiv.

What do you mean by re-selling the artworks?

Art is a lifestyle. It isn’t decoration that you place above the sofa for the next 20 years. It is also an asset and as such an investment. Therefore, we find it crucial to allow you to re-sell your artwork on our platform and rotate your collection depending on where you are in your life. This also gives you a chance to participate in the artist’s growth (realising some gains) while we ensure overall fairness as we pay 15% royalties to the artist. So buy on Subjektiv, create a digital profile with your collection, add events to the artworks you own and re-sell when you feel you want to experience another encounter.
